Michail Antonio
Strange how MIchail ‘HOVIS’ Antonio hasn’t really kicked on since Bilic ruined his career by playing him at right back, which coincidentally was the best period he’s had for us.

Must be proper scarred by that experience, given he’s been absolute fucking DOG for us since we moved.

Cheers, Slav.

Antonio’s problem might be his rib, but it looks like it also might be that he went to the Rib Man for treatment.

I've had a cracked rib and yes it hurt like fuck, even a small cough was painful

Re: Michail Antonio
I suspect there's an evolutionary reason why rib injuries hurt so much.

The body's not wired up right to determine whether a rib's broken, a dangerous injury which could end in a punctured lung, if not looked after, or bruised, which is no threat at all.

So evolution's made both hurt a lot.

Chim fair play, although I did say a bag of sand :-)

Re: Michail Antonio
What bollocks about him not being able to trap a ball. We've all seen him do some fucking amazing things. He's unconventional and unpredictable. That's his real strength.

His problem is that he's suffered a nasty rib injury and if anything he's trying TOO hard. Seems to shoot on sight instead of playing another better positioned player in.

He's about as shit as Anoutavic is. And we all know that a month or so ago Arnie was the shittest player we've ever signed according to the site's resident football geniuses.

Re: Michail Antonio
Was superb and HOTY until they doubled his wages, then he got fat, multiple injuries, unfit, finds it difficult trapping a bag of sand, touch of a rapist and turns like an oil tanker.

He's like a new signing this season. If that new signing was Titi Camara.

Re: Michail Antonio
His inability to control a football and pass it accurately are now a real problem as teams now know how to stop him turning and running which was his one outstanding attribute. Being unfit and overweight has further hindered this one ability.

Re: Michail Antonio
Last season he was a confident raw talent with strength & pace

This season he's lost his strength & pace because he's clearly unfit & overweight & because of that he seems to have lost his confidence

Remember that goal he scored from right back against Liverpool where he ran the full length of the pitch shrugging off challenges?
He's too fat to do that now

I'm casting judgement, which is I think he's a non-league cunt who won the lottery when he got his new contract and is now resting on his laurels, and going on tv and radio boring everyone with his tales...as for that Palace thing..

"anyway, he's been mostly injured then rushed back this season. bit unfair to cast judgement"

Sorry but thats bollocks!

I keep hearing stuff like this, but how long has he been rushed back for now????

Re: Michail Antonio
wasnt he our top scorer at the cesspit last season?

anyway, he's been mostly injured then rushed back this season. bit unfair to cast judgement.

although that palace shambles hasnt done him many favours.

One Mc ~

You mean apart for constructing a team of totally unfit players, playing out of position, without a clue what the team was going to be from one week to the next or what the tactics were supposed to be?

Or paying record prices for players like Ayew etc who nobody knows where he's supposed to fit in?

Take your pick

What mess?

jack flash 11:21 Fri Dec 29
Re: Michail Antonio
Looks to have lost all his enthusiasm, he's unfit & grossly overweight for a professional footballer

I don't blame Bilic for that (though I would blame Bilic for the mess he left behind for Moyes to try to sort out)

I know he's been injured, but that excuse is wearing a bit thin

He's living off the back of one, half decent, season
& that seems to have gone to his head

He needs to be permanently dropped until he's fit & lost significant weight

If he can't do that then it's time to unload him

Re: Michail Antonio
I agree on Noble.

Best we have I'm afraid..and he is suited to a counter attacking side...was very good at the clay heads

When he has to dictate at home he's woeful...

Obiang just reminds me of buster
